Sheet Metal Worker (SMW) – Helicopter MRO – GERMANY – LONG TERM

JOB DESCRIPTION

RecruitMnt66, at the request of one of its customers, is looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker (SMW) with helicopter experience.

Bell structural experience is highly preferred. The role focuses on heavy structural repairs, modifications and manufacturing of aircraft components.

 

  • Position: Sheet Metal Worker (SMW)
  • Location: Germany – on-site
  • Schedule: Minimum 40 hours/week. Flexible scheduling Monday–Sunday, depending on workload, with at least half a day off per week. Additional hours available, up to approximately 65 hours/week.
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: Long-term contract, as per contractors availabilities.
  • Trial Period: Initial 1–2 week trial period, after which both sides decide whether to continue.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven aircraft sheet metal / structures experience; Bell helicopter structural experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with heavy structural repairs, modifications and part manufacturing
  • Knowledge of solid rivets, Cherry rivets and Hi-Loks
  • Experience working with aluminium, stainless steel and titanium
  • Basic composite repair experience
  • Comfortable working with inch measurements
  • Good English skills required, including the ability to read English drawings, manuals and repair schemes
  • Own tools preferred
  • Health insurance mandatory
  • Right to live and work in the EU – WE DO NOT PROVIDE VISAS
