JOB DESCRIPTION
At RecruitMnt66, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced B2 Licensed Avionics Engineer to support a critical upgrade project for a newly arriving helicopter under our client’s Part-145 approval.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the hands-on installation, wiring, and testing of a comprehensive suite of Garmin avionics systems. This is an installation-focused role, requiring deep technical experience beyond routine maintenance checks.
- Aircraft Type: Airbus Helicopters H125 / AS350
- Scope of Work: Installation, wiring, and testing of Garmin avionics systems, including (but not limited to) G500, Autopilot, and Radar Altimeter (RadAlt).
- Duration: Short-to-Mid Term Contract (Project expected to start within 2–3 months).
- Estimated Start Date: January 2026.
- Location: EU – TBC
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid EASA Part 66 license with applicable categories: B2 (Avionics)
- Type Rating on H125 / AS350 is mandatory.
- Demonstrable and extensive hands-on experience with the installation, wiring, and testing of Garmin Avionics systems (e.g., G500/G1000 series, Autopilot systems, GTN navigators).
- Proven ability to interpret complex wiring diagrams and installation manuals for modification/upgrade projects.
- Must be familiar with the documentation and regulatory requirements of a Part-145 environment.
- Must have the right to live and work in EU. WE DO NOT PROVIDE VISAS.
